have an 18 year old calico cat who, over the last few months, had become quite matted. I tried brushing her out myself, but she fought me and I was worried about hurting her. I did some searching looking for a groomer who had experience with cats - specifically elderly cats. When I found Paws & Claws, it seemed almost too good to be true. When I took her in, they made me feel so comfortable leaving her there while they took care of her. As worried as I was about her age, they were amazing with her and I felt completely at ease. They were a blessing and I'm so grateful to have found them for my fur baby. They were able to brush out all but one of her mats, having to use the clippers on just one spot, her leg on the side she sleeps mostly. My cat is a 9 year-old long haired domestic and absolutely hates getting groomed. She was so content when I got her back from Paws and Claws and a week later she is still so playful and extra cuddly. Her lion cut is the best cut she has ever gotten. She looks beautiful and is so soft. Thank you to Grace and her daughter for making her feel so safe and comfortable and for being so accommodating by looking after her when I couldn't get to her right away because of work. I started taking my Persian cat to paws and claws almost 8 years ago, and she loves it there.
